Allan Crocket - 1988 Mustang - The original BDX car before it's conversion to Time Attack competition status. 318RWP with about 3000lbs of weight, a track slave, with lots of miles and lots of track use. This picture is during a competition where we somehow scraped out a 3rd place in Unlimed class. Time was 1:15.9 (see below for current set up)

Now a Vortech supercharged 500hp monster with 6 piston Wilwood brakes, wonderful KW Suspension, massive 305/35 18" tires on Enkei wheels, the car is much faster now with laps on the same track as above in the 1:12 times. See you at the track!!________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Instructor Alvin Tolosa in the R32 VW, Neuspeed parts and some nice suspension. Alvin managed a 3rd place at Buttonwillow in a 3500lb car with leather. Rumor has it that he was playing some old school jazz while flying around the track.

Craig Dabbs SRT4 - with massive horsepower increases and a future in Time Attack and NASA TT competition. Be sure to click the engine build article in our Media section and be sure to check your mirrors on the straights, he may be closing.

"Full Court Press" This shot was taken just a few turns before Driver and Advanced BDX Instructor Craig Dabbs in the Mike Crabtree STI made the pass on the Muellerized EVO. Craig was the 3rd place finisher in the AWD Unlimited Class at the Redline Track Events / Modified Magazine Time Attack on March 4th. 2006. Owner Mike Crabtree has been a student of the BDX for several years now and calls on Craig when he wants to put the hurt on the competition. Amazing is the fact that the car, although with over 600hp still had power windows and air conditioning installed at the time of the "Time Attack". Look for a much larger tire patch and lighter weight at the next time trial.

Chris Stout/Ford Racing Performance parts - 2001 ZX3 Ford Focus - Chris' Focus is a feature car on the FRPP web page. This is a wild-looking car, that is good for show as well as track. Stout recently took 2nd in the Redline Time Attack, finishing closely behind a NASA-prepped full-race Honda. The Focus boasts a Powerworks supercharger with properly-matched heads, cams and fuel mapping. One of the nicer Foci in the nation, it was originally acquired from the Barber Automotive group.

Cliff Shandley - 2004 SVT Cobra Mustang - Cliff is a close friend of the Barber Driving Experience and was one of our first real 'graduates'. Over the past 16 months he has done some very nice modifications, keeping car balance in line with the upgrades in horsepower. The vehicle has at least 500 whp, and has improved braking (Brembo), as well as dampening, spring, and alignment improvements. Not suprisingly, Cliff is #1 on our list for the upcoming GT500. I'm happy to say that we will see the new Mustang on the track, and not hidden in some garage.

Scott Laird- Ford SVT Focus - What was a nice comfortable SVT Focus is now a Vortech supercharged, caged, gutted, track slave. We couldn't be happier with the move. Scott is a former Focus Challenge winner and has gone from Student to Instructor over the past two years.

Lorin Mueller - SCCA Autocross Winner
BDX 2006 Mustang customer buildups- We have just delivered (2) 2006 Mustang Gt 5 speed to car enthusiasts. Both owners appear to be enthustiasts, are enrolled for track instruction, and plan on tastefull well thought out modifications. I thought I might be nice to follow 2 similar cars, the drivers and record the development of the cars and when possible the development of the drivers and the associated lap times. We also have a 3rd 2005 Mustang that is owned by a gentleman with a VW hot rod shop. He is deep into modding his car already and we will follow his progress and compare it to the other customer cars.

BDX 01 owned by Ken Palos, now sponsored by Steeda Autosports in Florida. This car is now very quick with 395 RWHP (normal aspiration stroker motor) KW Suspension with 3 way adjustability, adjustable Steeda Bars and control arms, Konig Wheels 275/18 performance rubber, Wilwood 6 piston brakes on 2 piece rotors and beautiful long tube headers with Borla Mufflers. The sound is amazing, so amazing you'll hear this car in an upcoming video game! This car took 1st in its first competition at Buttonwillow Raceway Park with Chris Cook turning the wheel. He liked it!

Jon Thomas of Ventura, California is the owner of BDX 02. Also with Steeda involvement, this car has knocked on the podium door with two 4th place finishes. We feel that with the current adjustability it should finally get the deserved podium finish. KW V3 dampening, long tube Borla headers with mufflers, Steeda bars and control arms are just in. I love this car and can't wait to run it in competition again. This motor is milder than that of the BDX 01 car with stock cams and displacement, very easy to drive fast. Although not currently dyno tested, my guess is the car is in the 320 rwhp area.
